ENGINEERING MANAGER
CITY OF ORLANDO VENUES
Performs technical and supervisory work involving the operations and maintenance of all engineering aspects of Venues facilities and utility service support systems. Supervises and performs all repairs and troubleshooting to the building HVAC system, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems. The principle facility in the Venues group is Amway Center, a 20,000-seat state-of-the-art NBA and concert venue, set to open in October 2010.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or related field plus four years experience in physical plant maintenance, including three years as supervisor or manager in related setting; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Related vocational or other training/education will be counted on a year-for-year basis. Experience in pneumatics, electrical high and low control voltages, air conditioning and refrigeration, and building maintenance required. Experience in modern, technologically advanced public facilities preferred. Must possess EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
Salary Range: Minimum $58,240 / Midpoint $76,651 / Maximum $91,021
