Join your fellow BOMA members at Clean the World Foundation for a few hours of volunteering. The volunteers will sort soap and lotion to distribute those in need.
DO NOT RESERVE ON THIS SITE, VISIT LINK BELOW
What to do before you arrive: Register by following this link (each individual group member must do this) - http://cerv.is/m?0271rBOMA
What to wear: Closed-toe shoes are required and comfortable clothing is recommended (our volunteer space is not climate controlled).
What to bring: A refillable water-bottle (we will have water available, and ask that you bring your own water-bottles to limit the amount of waste from paper cups). Please also consider bringing your own latex-free gloves to reduce our operational costs.
Age requirement: Kids must be at least 8 years old to participate. Kids ages 8-15 must have a parent or guardian accompany them.
Where to go: Volunteering takes place at 2544 E Landstreet Rd, Suite 600, Orlando FL 32824. Carpooling is strongly suggested. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled shift to allow adequate time for check-in and to walk through our soap museum - The Soap Story.
To support Clean the World Foundation and our work to provide hygiene necessities and education, we ask that you please consider donating $1 during your volunteer shift. With this $1 we are able to provide a family of five hygiene necessities for 1 whole month!
At this time, we are asking that you not donate hygiene amenities, as it has become extremely costly to handle product that does not come from a hospitality partner. We appreciate your desire to help our mission and that you instead place such items with a homeless shelter nearest you.
