Guest Speaker: Sandy Robinson

Sandrena (Sandy) Robinson is a 33-year CRE veteran and BOMA Fellow. As the new Special Projects Manager with LBA Realty, her main focus is to drive strategic corporate value-added initiatives, which include the national portfolio-wide roll-out of the BOMA 360 Program. She chairs LBA’s DEI Marketing & Branding Subcommittee and works strategically with the Director of Sustainability on various Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Customer Focus Program initiatives.  Prior to this new and exciting opportunity, she directed Property Management Services at Denver Place, LBA’s trophy mixed-use million square foot LEED EB - Gold BOMA 360 asset located in the heart of Denver’s Central Business District.  During Sandy’s tenured experience, she has represented such clients as the Prudential Insurance Company of America, Miller Global, Equity Office, CB Richard Ellis Global Investors, CS Capital Management, and most recently LBA Realty Fund III, Company III. Prior to a career in real estate, she was Controller and Director of Fiscal Planning for Regis University.

 

Sandy has an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder Leeds School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is a licensed Colorado Real Estate Employing Broker and attained a LEED Green Associate accreditation in 2013.

 

Sandy Robinson has and continues to serve her community well. She is an officer on the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District Board. But when it comes to BOMA, Sandy “affectionately tells everyone that she “bleeds BOMA Blue!”  She served BOMA International as a two-term Executive Committee member, presently co-chairs its Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and serves on its Finance Committee. She was the 2018 – 2019   BOMA PAC  Chair ; the 2017 BOMA International Government Affairs Committee Chair; 2015 -16 BOMA International State Government Affairs Committee Chair;  a voting member of  the BOMA International Industry Defense Fund Committee, supports the Building Standards and Codes Committee, was honored as the 2016 EXPO Conference Program Cover girl, and a panelist on the Inaugural Women's Breakfast Forum.

 

She has been a member of Denver Metro BOMA for 33 years and served on its Board for five years. In 2014, she was the Denver Metro BOMA President. Sandy has co-chaired its Nominating, Community Affairs, Awards & Recognition  and Communications Committees, and is a member of its Government Affairs Committee.  She is the proud recipient of six international, regional, and local   TO BY   Awards obtained during 1992 to 2015.  Sandy received the Denver Metro BOMA Principal Member of the Year Award in 2015; led   her JLL team to receive a 2012 LEED- EB Gold Certification for Independence Plaza (a then 44-year-old asset in the Denver CBD), and the 2014 and 2016 Denver Watts-to-Water Award for Energy Efficiency and Water Conservation. She has written a handful of articles for the Colorado Real Estate Journal and has been featured in the BOMA and Buildings Magazine.  Sandy Robinson is known for her commitment to help others succeed, to build high performance customer focused teams, to develop and embrace long-term strategic partnerships with key decision makers, to drive sustainable economic development initiatives, and for being an exceptional change management facilitator.
