Event Details

The Sustainability Committee invites you to our event at the Orlando Wetlands Park, January 18, 1:30 - 4:00 pm.

The Wetlands is a man-made wetland designed for advanced water treatment.  This 1650 acre park receives in 14 million gallons of reclaimed water each day, and provides advanced treatment so that the reclaimed water received in can be safely discharged into the St. Johns River.  The event includes both a staff-led presentation in the Education Center and tram tour around the entire park.

In addition to learning all about sustainable practices and water treatment/water quality, you will witness incredible wildlife that abounds throughout the park.  Bring your camera!

Cost is just $15 per person which includes a donation to the Park.

Get your work done in the morning and come out for a great education on water safety, quality, and treatment, and enjoy the outdoors!

  • Dress for the weather
  • Wear closed-toed shoes
  • Total time at the Park with the presentation and tram tour is 2.5-3 hours

Registration closes Monday, January 15, 2024 at 3 pm or when capacity is reached.
