Together, We Can Feed Hope and Build Stronger Communities

Join BOMA Orlando for a meaningful morning of service, education, and community impact at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. This unique volunteer experience combines hands-on service with valuable learning opportunities, allowing participants to make a direct difference in the lives of local families while gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges facing our community.

Attendees will learn about food insecurity, food deserts in urban areas, and the impact these issues have on the commercial real estate workforce and the communities we serve. The program will feature a presentation and Q&A with Second Harvest Food Bank representatives, along with a discussion on food insecurity and its connection to the commercial real estate industry.

Participants will also take part in hands-on warehouse volunteer activities, including sorting food, breaking down boxes, and moving pallets. Along the way, volunteers will learn best practices for food handling and waste prevention while supporting Second Harvest Food Bank's mission to provide hope and nourishment to those in need.

Whether you are looking to give back, learn more about an important community issue, or connect with fellow industry professionals, this event offers a rewarding opportunity to make an impact. A boxed lunch and beverages will be provided for all participants.
