Managing Industrial Properties Course, a one-day course for our Industrial Managers

May 23rd  8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 

This course is designed for anyone with 5 or fewer years of Industrial property management or someone re-entering the product type after an absence of three years or more.  This is more than a 101 course! 

The Course will include the following:

  • Industrial Property Management

  • Changing Demand for Industrial Properties

  • Financial Performance in Industrial Real Estate

  • Overview of Maintenance Programs

  • Major Industrial Building Systems

  • The Future of Industrial Real Estate

  • Also, included is a Land and Property Inspection Checklist

 

Some objectives for some of the modules:

  • Identify the various subtypes of industrial properties

  • Evaluate the major factors tenants consider when evaluating industrial leasing options

  • Identify the major factors that are creating demand for industrial real estate

  • Identify the methods by which common area maintenance (CAM) expenses are calculated and passed through to industrial tenants

  • Identify the major types of reactive and proactive maintenance

  • Evaluate the major building systems at a typical industrial property

  • Discuss Various Trends
